Rotor Cranks USA, Q-Rings, Rotor System

Q-Rings

Zoom in
Q-Rings
Rotor Q-Rings help to minimize the time spent in the dead spot while pedaling. While oval chainrings have historically been controversial, we believe that allowing a rider to fine tune the chainring position offers opportunities to minimize the dead spot never before realized with conventional chainrings.

Ágilis

Zoom in
Ágilis Crankset
Ágilis (Latin for lightweight) road crankset is an innovative conventional crankset and bottom bracket technology developed by Rotor that incorporates hollow alloy cranks, an adjustable length semi-integrated axle and self aligning bottom bracket cupset (SABB). Ágilis is the first crankset to be offered with Rotor Q-Rings as original equipment, and were designed to be used with the SABB Cupset, but can also be ordered without chainrings and can be used with other outboard cupset systems. Three models are available: Road 130BCD, Compact 110BCD, and MTB 104/64BCD 4-arm variants, available with or without Q-Rings.

S1 Stem

Zoom in
S1 and SX Stem
The key to the S1 Stem is the exclusive use of Rotor’s patented DTT design (Double Thread Technology); a double threaded design which eliminates the need for a head on the bolts. Each end of the bolt has a different thread pitch allowing for numerous technological advances not found on any other stem.

SABB

Zoom in
SABB Cupset
The Self Aligning Bottom Bracket (SABB) cupset from Rotor is the standard bottom bracket cupset for the Ágilis crankset, and is compatible with most modern cranksets from other major manufacturers. Bearings are held within ball-in-socket housings, allowing them to swivel into absolutely parallel alignment with each other, irrespective of any outside influences.

RS4X Road Double System

Zoom in
RS4X Road Double System
Rotor Cranks work by increasing the force required on the drive side crankarm which propels the non-drive crank are past the 12 o'clock point. The cyclist is now "permanently pushing" the cranks as there is no gap between when the legs take over push/recover duties, otherwise known as the dead spot.

RS4X Road Triple System

Zoom in
RS4X Road Triple System
Triple chainring version. The kinematics of the Rotor system enable the cyclist to develop more power for a given level of effort by increasing the effective chainring size for the pedal down-stroke (power phase) while decreasing the effective chainring size for the pedal up-stroke.

RS4X MTB System
Mountain bike. Greatly improves rear wheel traction when riding up loose climbs. The cam system removes the dead spot from your stroke, lowers your lactate levels and heart rate, increases endurance, improves climbing ability and power, allowing you to power over climbs more efficiently.
